The Youth Financial Literacy Program will hold its Second Annual Ethics Team Competition Fundraiser

Deadline for team application and fees is September 30, 2014.
A maximum of eight teams will be selected for the competition so sign up early!!
The team entry fee is a tax deductible $150.
Teams are limited to
three or four members per team.
The event will begin at 5:30 PM with refreshments and
team registration. The competition will start at 6:00 PM.
The theme for this year’s
competition is Business Ethics and Whistleblowing and is a follow up event to an
appearance by Cynthia Cooper’s October 22 visit at CSU Bakersfield. In 2002, she and
her team of auditors investigated and unearthed $3.8 billion in fraud at MCI/WorldCom
which is now Verizon. At the time, this was the largest incident of accounting fraud in
United States history! !
Funds raised from this event will benefit the Youth Financial Literacy’s scholarship program. To

the cause your tax deductible donation of $100 will help train our youth in basic financial
literacy skills. You or your organization will be listed in the program and on the Youth
Financial Literacy Program’s web site! !
